Interventions
Is there someone close to you who has a problem with alcohol or other drugs?
It is very difficult for concerned people to sit by and watch a friend or loved one on a downward spiral with alcohol or other drugs or any addiction. Often we speak to them one on one with no apparent success. Too often this downward cycle continues until there is loss of family, job, health and life unless this problem is addressed. More and more people are learning about interventions as a way of breaking through the denial and finding help for the person and the people around him. What is an Intervention?
An intervention is a planned meeting at which an alcoholic/addict is confronted by family, friends and often an intervention specialist in an attempt to break through the denial and start the person on the road to recovery. Lost and Found Ministry provides Interventions free of charge.
