          The Drug Enforcement Administration
Description: The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which was established in 1973, has a long and proud history. Today’s DEA is built on the successful tradition established by a number of federal drug agencies that were ultimately united under President Richard M. Nixon. The DEA is currently the premier agency for domestic enforcement of federal drug laws and has sole responsibility for coordinating and pursuing U.S. drug investigations abroad. Given the magnitude and pervasiveness of the illegal drug problem, the DEA is dedicated to working in close cooperation with federal, state, local, and international law enforcement counterparts to better address the triple threat of drugs, crime, and violence that plague our communities.

Description: The Minnesota Crime Alert Network is a statewide communications network that enables law enforcement agencies to quickly alert the public about crime or criminals that may affect them. More than 7,200 Minnesota law enforcement agencies, businesses, schools, and community members participate in the Network, making it the nation's most unique and efficient network of communications between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. Crime Alerts help... A statewide net to catch criminals, prevent crime, and locate missing people. Each of our members is a thread in the net, and each new member stitches the net a little tighter.
