Adult Children of Alcoholics
Description: Welcome to ACA. Adult Children of Alcoholics is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of women and men who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes. We meet with each other in a mutually respectful, safe environment and acknowledge our common experiences. We discover how childhood affected us in the past and influences us in the present ("The Problem"). We take positive action. By practicing the Twelve Steps, focusing on "The Solution", and accepting a loving Higher Power of our understanding, we find freedom from the past and a way to improve our lives today.

          Al-Anon/Alateen
Description: •Al-Anon's Purpose To help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend. Similarly, Alateen is our recovery program for young people. Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members.

          Alcoholics Anonymous [AA]
Description: Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

          Alcoholics Victorious
Description: Founded in 1948, Alcoholics Victorious support groups offer a safe environment where recovering people who recognize Jesus Christ as their "Higher Power" gather together and share their experience, strength and hope. Both the 12 Steps and the Alcoholics Victorious Creed are used at most AV meetings.

          Beginning Experience
Description: The purpose of Beginning Experience is to facilitate the grief resolution process for adults and children who have suffered a loss through death, divorce or separation, thereby enabling them to again love themselves, others and God. We accomplish the purpose by offering quality, copyrighted, grief resolution programs presented by trained peer ministers. These programs are designed to move grieving people through a transformational process to a new beginning in their lives.

          Children Of Alcoholics Foundation
Description: There are literally millions of Americans who have experienced parental substance abuse. They live in your town, go to your school, drive in cars next to you on the highway, and work in your office. And most of them have learned to cope and benefit from the challenges of their experiences. If you are interested in learning more about how a parent’s alcohol or drug use has affected you or someone you know: alcohol and drug basics - basic information about alcohol, drugs and addiction for children and teens - who may be wondering how to cope with a difficult home life - with a special section for teens for adults - who are still feeling the effects of their childhood and those who are just starting out on their own for parents in recovery - those who are in recovery and concerned about their kids. Relatives and other caregivers - those who are taking care of a relative's children (kinship caregivers)

          Co-Anon
Description: Co-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of men and women who are husbands, wives, parents, relatives or close friends of someone who is chemically dependent. If you are seeking a solution to the problems that come from living with a practicing or recovering cocaine addict, we at Co-Anon can help you.

          Co-Dependents Anonymous [CODA]
Description: Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and fulfilling relationships. We rely on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of our program and guides to developing honest and fulfilling relationships. Through applying the Twelve Steps and principles in CoDA to our daily life and relationships, both present and past, we can experience a new freedom from our self-defeating lifestyles and realize a new joy, acceptance and serenity in our lives.

          Cocaine Anoymous [CA]
Description: Cocaine Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from their addiction. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are fully self supporting through our own contributions. We are not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution. We do not wish to engage in any controversy and we neither endorse nor oppose any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay free from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances, and to help others achieve the same freedom.

          Freedom Seekers/Christian 12step
Description: Our goal is to reach the addict caught in the misery and deception of addiction to bring us from deaths door to emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

          Gam-Anon International
Description: The self-help organization of Gam-Anon is a life saving instrument for the spouse, family or close friends of compulsive gamblers.

          Gamblers Anonymous [GA]
Description: GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from a gambling problem.

          Marijuana Anonymous
Description: Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction.

          N.A. Meetings
Description: The Upper Midwest Region of Narcotics Anonymous (UMRNA) includes the USA cities of Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Valley City, Jamestown, Bismarck, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Minot, and Williston, North Dakotar, Breckinridge, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead, Morris, Thief River Falls, Wadena, Bemidji, and Alexandria, Minnesota; and the Canada / Canadian cities of Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie, Minnedosa, Flin Flon, and The Pas / La Pas, Manitoba.

Description: Narcotics Anonymous is an international, community-based association of recovering drug addicts with more than 28,000 weekly meetings in 113 countries.

          Recovering Couples Anonymous [RCA]
Description: Recovering Couples Anonymous (RCA) is a 12-Step Fellowship founded in the Autumn of 1988. There are groups throughout the United States, as well as worldwide. Although there is no organanizational affiliation with Alcoholics Anonymous©, The 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and Principles are adapted from A.A.

          Recovery Is Everywhere
Description: When one of us recovers from addiction, everyone benefits. We are restored to sanity and usefulness, our productivity improves and the lives of our family members, friends and neighbors are made better.
