Our focus has been on the science of methadone used in opioid addiction treatment, although many other treatment options and topics of concern are regularly presented.
Drake Counseling Services: Description: Intensive outpatient treatment services are provided to both adult and adolescent persons and their families.
Dual Recovery Anonymous: Description: Dual Recovery Anonymous is an independent, twelve step, nonprofessional, self-help organization for people with a dual diagnosis. Our goal is to help men and women who experience a dual illness. We are chemically dependent and we are also affected by an emotional or psychiatric illness. Both illnesses affect us in all areas of our lives; physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually.
Reverend Leo Booth: Description: Dynamic, challenging, insightful and witty, Reverend Leo Booth is a priest cut from a very different cloth. He says you don't have to be religious to be spiritual. Hazelden: Description: Hazelden is a non-profit organization providing high quality, affordable addiction treatment, education, publishing and research for more than 50 years.
Johnson Institute: Description: All individuals and families experiencing the harmful effects of alcohol or other drug addictions will find a path to recovery through early intervention, appropriate care, family involvement and community support. For over 40 years, the Johnson Institute led the field in delivering effective prevention, treatment and recovery programs. We have been a strong beacon of hope for alcoholics, their families and communities.
Knowlton, O'Neill & Associates: Description: Knowlton, O'Neill & Associates, P.C. is an independent mental health clinic providing services to adults, adolescents, children, and families. We offer comprehensive services with an emphasis on depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, stress-related concerns, disaster and trauma-related problems and forensic evaluations. Our Needs Assessment and Referral Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond promptly to calls or walk-in inquiries. A free and confidential assessment may be scheduled at any time. A counselor will help to identify presenting issues, and with a physician consultation, match patient needs to appropriate care at PRAIRIE at St. John's or with other community resources. We provide assistance in obtaining effective and accessible treatment services, as well as consultations regarding financial options.

The site is organized into categories identifying specific needs. The continuum of care can be found under the facilities tab, and in it you will find subcategories like detox facilities, primary and extended care treatment facilities, narcotics anonymous (NA), alcoholics anonymous (AA), non 12-step programs, and the various housing components nationwide.

The Retreat: Description: In 1991, The Community of Recovering People (CORP), a non-profit organization consisting of a group of dedicated professionals and recovered individuals, shared their commitment to creating a continuum of affordable, accessible and effective residential recovery services to help alcohol and drug dependent individuals recover.

Valley Christian Counseling Center: Description: Valley Christian Counseling Center, Inc. (VCCC) is an interdenominational ministry which compliments the work of the Christian churchs in Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding communities. It was established by the Fargo-Moorhead Area Evangelical Ministerial Association and is governed by a board of directors made up of pastors, professionals, and lay persons. The purpose of the Center is to offer counseling which integrates biblical truths with the healing process. Our goal is to help each person served become whole and achieve his or her emotional and spiritual potential.
